Lions Club Pancake Breakfast
Saturday, November 4th, 2023, 8am to 10am at Mike Le Bron Park
Enjoy breakfast with friends at the Mike LeBron playground on the first Saturday of each month from 8-10a, hosted by the Sargent Lions Club. Breakfast includes hot coffee, eggs, sausage and fluffy pancakes. Donations only.
5K Fun Run & Walk
Saturday, November 18th, 2023, All Day Event at Mike Leebron Park, 716 CR 298 (Caney Dr)
TWO race events:
9am start for serious runners
10am start for leisure runners and walkers
$30 entry free on or before October 31 (incl. T-Shirt)
$45 Nov. 1-14 at noon.
$50 Nov. 18 race day entry.
Awards in 5 age brackets
This event supports diabetes awareness and prevention information.
Sargent Boat Parade
Saturday, November 25th, 2023, 6pm to 9pm at Caney Creek
The annual Sargent lighted boat parade is the Saturday after Thanksgiving. It's never too early to start planning your festive boat decorations. The more lights the better! Residents are encouraged to light and decorate their docks, play seasonal music and cheer the boats.
Parade boats starts at the mouth of the Caney by Larry's Fish House before dark and will be underway by 6:15 p.m. The parade ends at boat ramp #1 near Creek side.
