A fundraiser benefiting the Sargent Library, sponsored by The Friends of the Sargent Library. The day begins with the 5k kayak fun run. In addition, to live and silent auctions and raffles, registered kayakers are eligible to be in a drawing to win a kayak or gift card. The funds raised are used to provide a summer reading program, story hours, school supplies and backpacks for students.

 

Hookers Waterfront Bar & Grill for lunch and auction items! Auction items preview at noon. Live auction, bucket raffle, silent auction, kayakers prizes and raffle drawing.  Raffle tickets will be available at local Sargent businesses.

Live Oak Bend Civic Club Annual Meeting. Come meet your neighbors! We'll have a business meeting, elect two board members, and guest speakers will bring you up to date on local information! Around noon, we'll have lunch - barbeque meats, beans, potato salad will be catered in. Please bring your favorite dessert or other side to share.

Things you can dispose of: used motor oil, antifreeze, brake/transmission fluid, old gasoline, pesticides, paints, household cleaners, drain openers, stain removers, furniture polish, cooking oil, batteries, old appliances, tires, products labeled "Warning/Caution/Poison", E-waste - computers, printers, cell phones

The Sargent's Lion's Club invites you to Halloween Trunk or Treat at the Sargent Fire Department. Prizes will be given for the best decorated trunks. Come in costume.
